Mural Installations

Mural Installations

Last Friday, April 16th, I took the murals to Four Seasons Campground for installation. I was fortunate that my husband, Chester, was available the morning of delivery as I needed his help carrying the heavy murals down the stairs from my second floor art studio. We loaded the murals and our kids and headed to the campground. When we arrived, we met with Bill, the owner of TBI Unlimited, and John, the owner of the campground.

I was a little nervous that the murals might not fit due to the surface preparations. Each panel had two layers of exterior primer, two layers of exterior paint, and two layers of UV protective coating on top of all of the decorative painting layers. Luckily, they fit perfectly into the custom built frames.

To celebrate their completion, I will be sharing the painting reveal video at my gallery during this year’s Salem County Arts in Bloom Studio Tour. You’ll be able to see the entire process from start to finish!

Thank you to Bill Taylor of TBI Unlimited for recommending me and John & Cheryl Robinson for commissioning these pieces. A special thank you to my family for their support and understanding while I created these large paintings in such a short time.
