One afternoon Chester and I went for a four-wheeler ride to take reference pictures for a painting I needed to complete for my college summer painting class. We came across some cows near the fence along Newkirk Station Road that belonged to our friend, Ben Wilson. While all the other cows walked away, #601 stayed and posed for me. I took many photographs of her and this painting is the first that I finished of her.
