This painting was created especially for Gallery 50’s Nature and The Landscape exhibition.  I asked my father, an expert on rural country roads, locating eagles nests and finding beautiful wetlands, to help me find some reference material. We drove around in his lime green beetle for hours on a muggy July afternoon. I had been taking pictures on my Canon DSL camera but the photograph I used to create this painting came from my iPhone.
