Honorary NJ State FFA Degree

Honorary NJ State FFA Degree
On Friday, June 4th, I was invited to attend the Salem Tech FFA Banquet. It was a beautiful night to enjoy an outside buffet and awards ceremony. Students were recognized for the individual and chapter achievements. I really enjoyed seeing the camaraderie amongst the chapter and especially the senior send off. It was really sweet! The admiration that the students have for their teachers, Mr. & Mrs. DiTizio, was very evident!

The chapter also surprised me with presenting me the Honorary NJ State FFA Degree. Salem Tech nominated me for this recognition for my annual donations from the Salem County Farmlands Calendar that I create every year. Over the last four years, I have donated a total of $3,000 to all three Salem County FFA Chapters which has helped them to attend state and national conventions as well as help fund various chapter projects.

Being nominated and receiving this recognition is the most meaningful accomplishment I have achieved as an artist. It truly validates the purpose of my artwork. I hope to expand my reach and help other FFA chapters throughout our state while still supporting our local county chapters.
